What does handling press inquiries cost for one site in the Netherlands in 2026?
PR-Dashboard sells a product called Persvragen that manages incoming press questions. The product page lists a price of EUR 2,700 with no period stated for one site, with no period stated; the source is pr-dashboard.nl/producten, measured 1 September 2026. The price buys a system that routes press questions to the right person inside the organisation.
Most competing tools do not sell press inquiry handling as a separate product. Prezly sells a full newsroom with an inbox for EUR 100 to EUR 250 per month, and Mynewsdesk sells a similar package from EUR 220 per month, both measured 31 August 2026. Those prices include many features beyond just handling press questions, so a direct comparison is difficult.
How do you route press questions to the right person when you have three locations?
An organisation with three sites in the Netherlands can set up one central email address for all press inquiries and forward each question to the right person manually. That method costs nothing extra in software, but it requires a person who knows every site well. Another method is to give each site its own press inquiry system.
The Persvragen product is built for one organisation. The product page, measured 1 September 2026, describes the handling of incoming press questions, and whether questions can be split across three locations automatically is a question for the supplier. The page does state that all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers, from the source /meer/veelgestelde-vragen.
What is the cost of a separate press desk per site?
If each of the three sites needs its own press inquiry desk, the total cost goes up. Three copies of a dedicated press question product would cost three times the single-site price. For the inquiry desk at EUR 2,700, with no period stated on the page per site, that would be EUR 8,100 per year in total, based on the price published on pr-dashboard.nl/producten, measured 1 September 2026.
By contrast, a single shared desk costs one licence. The shared desk requires a human router or a system that recognises which site a question is about. No extra software cost is needed if the organisation already uses email.
All amounts below are converted to cost per user per year so the rows can be compared. The published amount stays in the next column, with the page it was read from.
5 columns. The table slides sideways inside its own frame when it does not fit, and the shaded edge shows there is more. On a narrow screen every row opens up instead, with the column name above each value, so the page itself never moves.

Which sectors benefit most from a central press desk?
A hospital, a university and a factory owned by the same company receive very different press questions. A single desk with a human router works well because the router learns each topic over time. The cost of a central system is one licence instead of three, saving EUR 5,400 per year compared to three separate the press-question module licences at EUR 2,700 each, as published on the product pages measured 1 September 2026.
Three branches of a retail chain, by contrast, all receive the same kind of press questions about store hours, product recalls or job openings. A central desk can reuse answers and train the system once. The supplier the inquiry desk product handles incoming questions, and the source /meer/veelgestelde-vragen states the database covers virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders.
What do competitors offer for multi-site press routing?
Prezly and Mynewsdesk both sell newsroom software that includes a press inquiry inbox. Prezly publishes prices from EUR 100 to EUR 250 per month and hosts on AWS eu-west-1 in Dublin. Mynewsdesk publishes from EUR 220 per month and has no Dutch-language pages at all, according to the five language editions measured (German, English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish) on 31 August 2026.
Prowly publishes USD 258 per month for its plan, measured on 31 August 2026, but does not document a price in euros. Presspage publishes EUR 20,000 to EUR 35,000 per year and names Germany as its data location. None of these vendors document a separate press inquiry routing feature on their pricing pages measured 27 and 1 September 2026.
What should you check before you choose between one desk and three?
First, check whether your press questions overlap. If the three sites serve the same industry, one desk with a routing rule is enough. Second, check whether any of the sites has its own press officer. That person may need login access to the press inquiry system.
Third, check the cost of additional logins. The Amsterdam supplier sells that database from EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, as published on /meer/veelgestelde-vragen measured 1 September 2026. The same page states that this Dutch platform offers single sign-on with LexisNexis, Monalyse and Media Info Groep, which may help connect existing tools.
How do you test press routing before committing to a licence?
Test with a manual system first. Set up one central email address for all three sites and route each incoming question to the right person by hand. Do that for one month and count how many questions arrive. That number tells you whether the volume justifies a paid system.
If the volume is low, meaning fewer than ten questions per month across all three sites, a manual routing system and a spreadsheet are fine. If the volume is high, a dedicated press inquiry product like the press-question module saves time. The price of EUR 2,700, with no period stated on the page for one site, published on the product page and measured 1 September 2026, is easy to compare against the cost of the manual time it replaces.

Answers
Can one press desk handle questions for three separate locations?
Yes, if the questions are similar or if a human router knows each location. The cost is one licence instead of three.
Does Persvragen work for multiple sites out of the box?
The product page does not document multi-site support. It is designed for one organisation, and the price for one site is EUR 2,700, with no period stated on the page, measured 1 September 2026.
What is cheaper: one central desk or a desk per site?
One central desk is cheaper if you buy one licence. Three separate licences at EUR 2,700 each cost EUR 8,100 per year, based on the published price of Persvragen.
Do other tools handle press routing for Dutch organisations?
Prezly and Mynewsdesk include an inbox in their newsroom software, starting at EUR 100 and EUR 220 per month respectively, measured 31 August 2026. They do not document separate press inquiry routing.
